Out of the Blue

The backwash of an attempt to do high fashion modeling.

Black Style

This post is the same as my previous post, really they're not opposite at all.
Imma talk about a common fashion in japan which is the B-gyaru its part of the B-kei movement which means 'Black-Style'.Being a B-gyaru is not wanting to be black but to admire the black american culture especially in music.A B-gyaru can usually be identified with tanned skin, braided hair and stiletto heel boots. It clearly disregards the belief of some japanese girls that pale is beautiful.

Here are examples of B-gyarus

Also,B-gyarus say that being a B-gyaru is to not look japanese as possible.
just thought you might want to know.

Operation I WANT MY PALE SKIN BAACK!!

I had pale skin for the past two years of my highschool..Yeah,so what. The problem is its not the kind of cool,vampire-like pale skin, its more the unhealthy-kind pale skin. All my new acquaintance who see me would ask the same question.May sakit ka ba?Yep,ALL of them.Couldnt blame them I lacked color then,my lips were white and my eyebags completed my "dull look".But amid all that,my pale-ness also had a good side.Like whenever I want to skip class Id just fake a headache and it works.Sometimes, its the teacher who sends me to the infirmary but of course I havent gone to the infirmary and die out of boredom I spend my time in the air conditioned library and I sometimes sleep there, too.
Here are photos taken when I was color-less.
theres me in blue top
Oookaay stop the photo spamming.
Having to use blush-on and lip tint to put color in my face everyday of my life even on ordinary days,I was envious of those girls who look damn good even without trying with their tanned skin. And so I decided to love the sun.
And then tragedy.
After bathing in the sun my skin got dry and it needed the aid of moisturizing lotion to keep its moisture.but krissa thats how it works...Yes of course.I mean I didnt need this 'high-maintenance' before. One thing more why I want to have pale skin is because I want to try out cotton candy hair and pale skin matches any hair color.

Japanese Gaga

Its all about Kyary Pamyu Pamyu !! Kyary is the girl of my dreams shes a model turned singer and shes now traveling in the states doing live shows in 6% Doki Doki's first release in the US.Shes a regular personality in the streets of Harajuku and was often street-snapped.Still in high school, she became popular when she appeared on the covers of different fashion magazines.
This is one of her street snaps in harajuku when she was seventeen years old.
After achieving a measure of fame, with the help of her teen fans who are interested in harajuku fashion, she then released her own line of fake eyelashes. Then she wrote an autobiography Oh! My God! Harajuku Girl!

Heres the fan blog where you can find Kyary's official blog translation and more.

Okay, here is why shes a Japanese Gaga.

And no, guys, shes not trying to be Lady Gaga.Shes a big fan of Lady Gaga and i think it influenced her videos and fashion.

Also,Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is known for her make-faces

Her make face is not just cuty-cutey, her face is crazy!
Thats the cuteness with poison shes talking about.

"Im not a whore, Im just popular"

I just discovered this cool gyaru blog and its not just all about gyaru its about shopping and sometimes about life in tokyo its a blog run by a real tokyo gyaru but the best thing is its written in english! Ive seen blogs of famous gyaru models but they're all in japanese characters and can we add more gyaru word because its not yet getting annoying, gyaru gyaru gyaru gyaru. and btw gyaru literally means gal in english but its more known as a fashion trend. It kinda match the kikay fashion here in the Philippines but in japan gyaru is,like, overdoing the hair,make-up,nails and clothes.
Like these ladies here.
Okay, now that you understand gyaru let me talk about the blooorg. So I saw this post from the same blog and the Glad News designs really got my attention.
Like this one
Kinda weird but mickey mouse ears are getting popular now.
This one reminds me of Lady Gaga.
You can look for more designs here.

But then I saw this and was like,Looooool xD
Hahahaha!! At least it makes sense, now look at this.
Purple Highway of Angel??! What the-
Its hilarious when japanese is translated directly to English.
Theres this line from Glad News of shirts, jacket and shorts that have 'im not a whore,im just popular' printed all over.
lol but still it rocks xD

Like this on summer

Hair-dyeing is my annual ritual during summer.I dye my hair every chance I dont see school because hair-coloring is not allowed in school.Thats why I do it every summer where there are no strict school discipline officer inspecting hair.
My first plan was doing a cotton candy hair.

But then I dont have light skin and cotton candy hair looks good with pale skin.
And so my second plan was this.

But then I dont have straight hair and I dont want to iron my hair everyday of my life.
My hair is kinda like this.
Mine will be black and blue.
Oh Yeah!

Beauty before comfort

It has been our family's way of life.Well not really the whole family but we like to dress, let's say, extravagant. We dont care too much of what other people might think,we just dress a tad bit different (in a good way) than the usual.Yeah, but in reality we dress strange.
My sister told me this, when some person wears a simple tee and jeans they look .. simple but when we wear it,it rocks.Of course I know every person can rock in clothes fit for them.Okay, that was really irrelevant. As I was saying,we dont follow whats trending,we actually avoid the trend. When I was in 6th grade my fashion, then, was punk rock but I was always mistaken for being emo, which became a trending fashion by that time. Then I tried to dress like a girl but it definitely didnt match my attitude. So I tried wearing out-of-the-blue clothes pairing short pants to high-cut sneakers.I guess it's unlikely for other people but I liked it so I wear it but the problem was lack of self-esteem.I had heavy self-criticism,a simple negative comment made me want to stick my head in the sand.So I tend to dress as normal and simple/boring as everybody else.If I weren't able to get a grip of myself all these years I wouldn't be blogging and I wouldn't go out and I'd just hide under the blankie feeling sorry for myself.
Tokyo Fashion was a great help for me to understand my inner fashion interest. It has awoken my sleeping creativity and it helped me have strength to dress quirky again.

 Like these people from Harajuku.

If someone actually wear that here yeah people might get confused and worse they might laugh but who cares? These people dont give a damn about what others think as long as they like what they're wearing and because of their confidence to dress up like that,Harajuku became a fashion capital of the world.
Its really funny when people thinks they're funny when making fun of someone.
I really hope narrow-minded people could open up their minds so we geniuses can come across theirs.
I dont dress for someone,I dress for myself.
