This is how I dressed for my friend's 16th birthday party weeks ago.
I had 'chic' and 'classy' in mind when I put these together,then felt like,I look like everybody else.I mean,wtf,the TREND is eating my brain.So I just added a cat eye make-up on and a head band to accentuate the uniqueness.Its not that I am anti trend,I just want to have my own style and not depend so much on whats trending.I avoid trends as much as possible because,you know,one day its 'in' the next day its 'out' (wow i sound like Tyra in ANTM) and when the 'fashion police' call it 'soo last year' the people will wave it off like it never happened existed.Its just ridiculous.I hate how trends can easily be get over with and change constantly,I guess we'll just have to deal with it.Ooh,I can hear my values teacher.

So yeah,I kinda regretted what I wore because,though its occasion-appropriate,its just not me.I guess I was just taken aback by my friends' stately looks.I remember when Vans slip-on,jeans,and tee was our occasion-appropriate get-up.Its been years.
